Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Log in to your account
  • Visit Buho Wallet login page.
  • Enter your current credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Security Settings
  • Click on your profile avatar.
  • Select "Profile" β†’ "Security".
Step 3: Update Password
  • Enter your current password.
  • Enter and confirm your new password.
  • Click "Save Changes".

Password Recovery ​

Step-by-Step Recovery Guide
Step 1: Initiate Recovery
  • Visit the Buho Wallet login page.
  • Click on "Forgot Password".
  • Enter your email address.
Step 2: Check Your Email
  • Open the reset link sent from support@mybuho.de.
  • If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
Step 3: Set New Password
  • Create a strong new password.
  • Confirm the new password.
  • Click "Save Changes".

Managing 2FA ​

Backup and Recovery
Step 1: Store Backup Codes
  • Save your backup codes in a secure location.
  • Keep them separate from your device.
  • Consider using a password manager.
Step 2: Device Change
  • Use backup codes if you change devices.
  • Set up 2FA on your new device.
  • Disable access from the old device.
Step 3: Disable 2FA
  • This is not recommended.
  • Requires your current 2FA code.
  • Will take effect immediately.

Security Best Practices ​

Password Guidelines
  • Use at least 12 characters.
  • Mix uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Include numbers and symbols.
  • Avoid using personal information.
  • Use unique passwords for each account.
